Mt. Olympus Water Park, Chicago Overview

Designed in an ancient theme, The Mt Olympus Water Park opened in 1990. With over 30 water slides, five water coasters, and nine go-kart tracks, the park stretches across 102.2 acres of land. The park features amusement park rides, indoor and outdoor water rides, which include Neptune’s Water Kingdom, and Medusa Indoor Water Park.

The Neptune’s Water Kingdom is an outdoor waterpark with numerous water slides, which include Dragon’s Tail- a 300-foot long double drop slide, Thunder- a speed slide, Triton’s Rage- a 500-foot long family raft ride, and many more.Medusa’s Indoor Water Park, however, is an indoor facility in Mt Olympus that stretches across 55000 square feet of land. Some of the attractions here include Cobra- an enclosed body slide, a lazy river called the Mayan Raging river, Anaconda- a tube slide that is ten floors high, and many more.
