On the other side of the town, Wat Mong Gorn Phupharam is a Chinese Buddhist temple which has a stunning architecture and design bursting with colors. Wat Bot Muang is Chanthaburi's oldest temple built 400 years ago. It has a chedi and murals of scenes from Buddha's life.
