Nangal is a beautiful small town situated at a distance of 100km from Chandigarh in Punjab. The wetland is bounded by Sutlej River, canals and magnificent hills. Rail: The regular trains run from other major cities like Delhi, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Amritsar etc. to Nangal. After reaching the Nangal railway station, you can hire a taxi to reach the Nangal Lake.
