Cape Wheel, Cape Town Overview
The Cape Wheel is a large observation wheel offering stunning 360-degree panoramic views of Cape Town and its surrounding landscape. Located on the V&A Waterfront, it rises to a height of 40m. There are 30 air-conditioned enclosed cabins and also two wheelchair-accessible cabins.
One can view the Table Mountain, the Cape Town skyline, Robben Island, the Atlantic Coast, Hottentots range, Paarl Mountains, the V&A Waterfront, and more from the Cape Wheel. With four revolutions, the entire experience takes around 12-15 minutes. The wheel also pauses and gives enough time for you to click pictures of the beautiful adjoining views. There are also various special offers. Some of these include filling up an application form and getting a free ride on your birthday. Or enjoying a picnic with snacks up in the VIP gondola with the time of the ride being extended.
