How Many Days are Enough to Visit Paro?
To truly experience the essence of Paro, it's best to plan a trip for at least 2-3 days. Paro is not just about visiting famous landmarks but also about immersing yourself in the traditions and culture of the Bhutanese people. Take time to explore the local markets, interact with the locals, try the delicious Bhutanese cuisine, and participate in traditional festivals, if any, during your visit. Also, take day trips to nearby towns and villages to better understand the country. A more extended stay will give you ample time to appreciate the beauty and serenity of Paro and Bhutan truly.Best Time to Visit Paro
If you plan to visit Paro in Bhutan, the best time is between March and May during spring. The hills look stunning with all the beautiful flowers blooming. However, October and November are great times to visit, especially for trekking. The weather is sunny during the day, and the temperature is usually around 20 degrees Celsius. But remember to carry an umbrella in case of seasonal rainfall. However, it's better to avoid the monsoon season in Bhutan between June and September as there's a lot of humidity and rain. The dry season from late November to early March is another good time to visit, but it can get cold from early December to February. If you're on a budget, June to August is the low season, and you can get cheaper hotel rates and airfares. So plan your trip accordingly, and have a fantastic time!
