Good food, comfortable rooms and facilities, river flows from within the premises that's why it is called H2O house.

Our room had the river fountain water flowing beneath it at first it was cool but as the day progressed the sounds became slightly irritating. It was too loud.

Its one of the most incredible stays ever! The property is at the bank of a river and has one of the oldest water mills. The rooms are cozy and the sound of the water gushing next to your room is unbelievable. Extremely beautiful surrounding. What stands out the most is how the local village community is engaged with this hospitality experience and sustainable living. The combination of staying at a spacious comfortable property and still experiencing the village life (village walks, local food, trek to the Hidimba Devi temple) is so unique. Fabulous & pure food at the restaurant. The hosts as well as the team at the property went out of their way to make the stay special for us. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Chamba.

I booked online and while I was on the way and was goin to reach there , I called them for directions and they told me that my booking has been cancelled as u havent made payment , however , neither I was intimidated that my booking has been cancelled not I was asked to make any pay ment , and their service executive told me that how can I be confirmed about my booking if I had not made pay ment and as per her , its not their responsibility to update me regarding my cancellation or payment requisition , and got txt from apps saying I didnt show up at property on booking Date ! True a worst experience ever

The location is lovely ! The staff is friendly, courteous and helpful. They have ample activities. BEst part of our stay was the riverside nature trail. Overall had an amazing stay and would love to visit again

There was not much to not like about the property. The rooms could have better and more light and the washroom could be a little more spacious. If I nitpick then our room had the roof leaking for a while in the rains and the washroom had a leaky knob.

Rustic charm with great staff

The staff are wonderful & they are what makes this place. Vicky went out of his way to help us & guide us around Chamba. He also organised a very special ceremony for us & we had a lovely evening with him singing karaoke. The chef made us a delicious dinner for my birthday & Surinder was incredibly helpful. The Manager Magandeep was so nice. I cant fault them at all. The accommodation is basic but comfortable enough if you choose the right option. There are 2 levels to the house. The lower level has a family room & below that a double. Both these rooms are close to the river so were quite dark & damp & the weir rushes down beside them making a lot of noise. The bathrooms are basic. The better option is above the kitchen & is a family maisonette which is nice & has more modern bathrooms & a nice terrace. The house is in a beautiful position by a river with walks to the villages & a lovely community. It is a unique place to stay & a great experience but in my opinion the lower rooms need improvement.

AVOIDABLE

The place is not for senior citizens. The location is not available on the road - NotonMap - Rafi's House across the road is unresponsive, despite waiting for sometime. The wifi facility offered is limited. Travellers should be informed that coverage of VodafoneIdea in HP is very poor. Our all phones are vodafoneidea connections. Moral - carry phones with multiple connections.
