Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and well presented rooms. Fantastic railway theme in bedrooms.

Water was not hot enough. Corridor was to go down to the rooms could be better water proofed and cleaner.

A great Hotel in Ella, marred by a problem that could not be solved

Fab location with amazing views Brilliant staff, professional, kind and caring. A special thanks to Sanjeewa who went that extra mile.

Reception were unable to keep noisey guests quiet when we asked 10.30. At 12.30 and again at 1.30 a.m there was no receptionist on duty and the emergency number was continually engaged. A four star hotel should have a 24 hour desk. We are still waiting to hear from the Manager by e mail, who was away that day.

Amazing - thoroughly recommended for a stay in Ella

Excellent hotel with amazing staff! The location is perfect just a short 2 minute walk into town but far enough out of town to be peaceful with amazing views of Ella gap. Food was delicious with very good service from all the staff. The room was a good size with picture views. A great stay and we would love to visit again.

Outstanding hotel with super nice view in the valley. The staff is so friendly and accommodating - Ive never seen that level of service somewhere else. The breakfast and dinner have been super tasty and definitely a recommendation. The best stay I had in many ages of travelling!!!

Stunning views, lovely staff who are happy to do anything/everything to help, amazing food (we recommend the 3 course Sri Lankan dinner if its available - great way to try a range of local curries)

The perfect hotel with an amazing view in Ella

We booked the honeymoon suit and honestly it was worth it. The location is in the center of the Ella Village. 1 minute walking distance from restaurants and shop. Amazing room, incredible view and staff was so so friendly. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. It is a most go hotel in Ella. Great job

Superb

Warm, hospitable stay with gorgeous views

Ekho Ella has one of the most enviable positions with picture perfect views of the "Ella gap" and the surrounding area. Waking up to that view was simply wonderful! The rooms are not particularly modern, but have everything you need for a comfortable stay. And our "butler" Priyantha was incredibly efficient and helpful. The hotel restaurant was also surprisingly good with great food and warm, friendly service with special thanks to Janaka for looking after us so well! The hotel is also located just a short 4-5 min walk to the town centre making it rather convenient. However, it is sufficiently tucked away so you're never disturbed.

Our check-in was not great as there was no one at the front of house initially and the process was somewhat slow and laboured. In addition, the rooms could do with some modernisation. But these were the only minor niggles in an otherwise warm and wonderful stay.
