Our first thoughts when we arrived at Green Nature Ella "WOW" It has an almost Zen like feel. The location is to die for, right over the nine arch bridge, with spectacular panoramic views. The cabin has been done out to a really good standard, and is clean and bright with everything you need. The wet room is really modern and shower has good pressure. The water supply is connected to a local spring and you can tell. I read a lot of reviews of properties in Ella before choosing this one and a common problem was a damp smell, this cabin certainly did not have any issues. The owner is amazing and so kind generous and helpful, he will take you locally in his tuk-tuk and kept in contact as to his movements in case you needed him. The breakfasts were beyond satisfactory - so much and so fresh! I had read about his wife's coconut pancakes and specifically requested them and they lived up to my expectations :) The owner's family is dotted around him and there is a family owned restaurant just below (both cabin and restaurant bar are on a (slippery) path to the Nine Arch Bridge. We ate and drank there and it was really good. I cannot recommend this little piece of heaven and earth more highly. We stayed in several different properties in Sri Lanka including a couple of 5* and Green Nature Paradise has kept a little piece of my heart it was so special due to peaceful and beautiful location and the lovely owner. We really hope to come back.
