The Heart of Ella is a remarkable and comfortable accommodation with exceptional views of the Ella Waterfall. The proprietor is highly hospitable and ensures a delightful stay. The rooms are impeccab (Read More)ly clean and the breakfast is enjoyable. The location of the establishment is stunning and the staff is helpful. The only downside is the limited parking space. Overall, it is a pleasant and recommended place to stay in Ella.

Exceptional

Lovely stay in the heart (mountain) of Ella

The room was very nice and modern with a beautiful view to the mountains! The balcony was very cozy too. The host was remarkably supportive as he was super nice, always willing to help and very friendly. He always called a TukTuk, organized a private taxi to Uduwalawa and had nice chats with us. The breakfast on the rooftop was also delicious. We had a very good time here and would totally recommend that place!

Good place to stay, but willth a small catch

Location of the place as well as breakfast are good! The manager was helpful to accommodate an early breakfast for us as well as room upgrade on the spot

In some rooms, I saw cockroaches, which is a big red flag to me. Had to change the initially booked room to avoid it

Superb

Great place to stay in Ella

We had a lovely stay. The view of the waterfall from our bed was amazing. The room itself was perfect for our stay. The location is very popular amongst tourists it seems, so it is easy to get a tuktuk into the main street of Ella which was only 5 min away.

We really liked our stay :)

Very poor

The view was stunning and the staff were very friendly.

Hotel condition & cleanliness were very disappointing. The hotel rating should be much lower than the mentioned 4 stars. Its very misleading to bookers.

Amazing place

The place is amazing. By far one of the best hotels I have stayed at especially for the price! The rooms are really smart, modern and spacious with a huge bed. The view from the room balcony is incredible particularly for sunrise. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The owner is so funny, really helpful and just a really nice man!

The location is good, away from the main street so you can sleep well Good views from the rooms too

The room we booked did not come with a good lock on the door - so we changed rooms and this was much better They seem to be in the middle of renovating & therefore in its current state its not a 4* hotel but is a 3/4* guesthouse
