The location is peaceful, away from the main strip but still within walking distance of the city center and nearby attractions. The balcony and private swing offer breathtaking views of Ella, including the waterfall and famous train. Overall, it is a wonderful place to stay and enjoy the beauty of Ella.

This was our favourite stay on our loop trip around Sri Lanka. The room was spotless, the view was splendid, our hosts were just the right amount of attentive and genuine, dinner was so yummy, there was even hot water... etc. you get the gist. No regrets! Thank you!

Lovely Homestay, great views, amazing family

This was probably our favourite stay in Sri Lanka! Namal, his wife and children were the sweetest and most accommodating people we met during our stays. A genuine heartfelt welcome and a constant will to help us arrange anything we needed. The location of the Homestay, a bit outside of the city centre and with a few steep steps to go up, was definitely the prettiest! A direct view of the Ella Rock and Little Adams peak, as well as of the Kuda Ravana waterfall. Wonderful terrace for breakfast, as well as a welcome tea, and cute little private balcony of the room with a swing from where we could enjoy the view. Big and clean bathroom, hot water and WiFi, everything was great. Also one of the most comfortable pillows we found during our stay in Sri Lanka. But again, most importantly, Namals family who made it all even better. Huge bonus: Ruby, their lovely dog! Great value for money too, it was definitely more than we expected!

Best experience in Sri Lanka

10/10! One of the best places weve stayed in Sri Lanka. The views are just incredible, plus the room was clean, amazing hot shower, good WiFi and good food. The stuff was extremely nice, we enjoyed a lot talking with them! Theyve received us with some tea and we had breakfast in the roof with such an amazing views.

Recommend stay in Ella

The view is just stunning in morning !.. The food is just amazingSri Lankam food !!! The host and the staff are doing there job outstanding!

Stunning views and lovely hosts!

Simple, yet comfy and quiet guesthouse with absolutely breathtaking views over Ella Rock. Namal and his family are lovely and will go out of their way for their guests. Good breakfast, too.
