Our Journey started with a simple thought in 2018 as to how can we protect our temples in the current form and pass on this rich heritage to next generations. (www.velpu.com) Problem : • Scattered information on temples in India. • Exploitation of pilgrims at spiritual destinations. • Poor spiritual experience due to long queues and lack of information. • Limited availability of travel agents providing tailored experiences. Vision : To become India's trusted partner in preserving Hindu temples, heritage sites and related knowledge for future generations, using technology and public engagement. Mission : • Establish trusted partnership for heritage and spiritual needs across India. • Develop centralized platform for temple information and travel planning. • Enhance visits with web and mobile apps for memorable experiences. • Foster fair, transparent, and user-friendly tourist ecosystem, creating local jobs. • Promote public involvement in temple renovations through technology. Our Journey : August 2018 - Conceptualized the idea to create a single platform. May 2019 - Established the team. June 2020 - Velpu.com went live with 1000 temples and attractions. September 2022 - Information collated on more than 4000+ temples and attractions. October 2023 - Commenced tour operations in Tirupati. Dec 2025 - Expand operations nationwide across all Indian destinations.
