Pasighat- Jengging-Yinkiong circuit, Yingkiong Overview

This is a very famous trek route which has a lot more than just trekking. This route starts from Daying Ering wildlife Sanctuary which is reached by cruising over Siang river.

The sanctuary houses different species of birds like crabs, wild ducks, storks, waterfowls and even other migratory birds as well. Besides birds, you can spot hog deers, hispid deers, wild buffalo, elephants and many others. Talking about Siang river which originates from Tibet, people rafting here get enthralled as there are moments when the stream is thunderous and sometimes you can raft with the flow. There is rich aquatic life on this river and it flows crossing some calm dense forests like Mouling national park and many others. The route also covers Kekar Monying (Black rock) which was erected by Adivasis in the memory of those who died in a fight on 4th December 1911. The stone cliff stand 50m high and is about 500m in length. And yet another spot is Komsing, where there is a stone erected by the Britishers of Sir N. Williamson, who was assassinated by Manmur Jamoh.
