Vaishno Devi Ropeway, Vaishno Devi Overview

The popular Vaishno Devi Ropeway connects Vaishno Devi Mandir to Bhairon Nath Mandir, a couple of kilometres away. The one-hour trek between the two is tough, especially for the elderly, and can be covered in about 5 minutes by ropeway instead. The air-conditioned cable car carries up to 45 people at a time and operates one-way only, with wide views of the Bhairo Valley along the way.
