The popular Vaishno Devi Ropeway system connects Vaishno Devi Mandir to Bhairon Nath Mandir, which is located about a couple of kilometres. The one hour trek from Vaishno Devi Mandir to Bhairon Nath Mandir is tough and very difficult for the elderly. It can be covered in 5 minutes with the ropeway. The air-conditioned cable car can carry 45 people at a time and is operational one way only. The panoramic aerial view of Bhairo Valley from the ropeway is stunning.
