Rumassala South Beach, Unawatuna Overview
One of the lesser-known treasures of Unawatuna is Jungle Beach. Owing to the long shoreline of blond sands and excellent underwater visibility, this beach in Unawatuna is popular for snorkeling, swimming, and sunbathing. There are several small seafood shacks, eateries, and bars here.
The beach is not as easy to visit as compared to the other city beaches, but you can access it either by walking on foot and making a trekking trip out of it or even taking a boat ride.
