Detailed Review as its hard for me to find review for srisailam Commute: ( From Bangalore) By train, you can go up to Kurnool( Book at least 1 month in advance for confirmed seats on weekends), From (Read More)kurnool, you can get a bus ( bus service starts from 5 AM). There are many direct buses also from Bangalore. Stay: Kindly book online as the whole place is made by the government for tourism so you can book online on "Link Hidden". Book atleast 5 days before you go. If you want normal private rooms you can get @500 non-ac, @1000 AC. For online booking on "Link Hidden" you can get @700 AC room. Food: Not many good options, poor hygiene and very fewer options. Travel: local sightseeing up to "Sikhram", 10 KM away from the temple. It will cover 4-5 temples at will cost in sharing auto @80. Full auto-rickshaw can be booked @400. Sports/ activity: Akkamaha devi caves: Book one day before, for visiting the cave. It is 4 hr ride. Starts from hillock followed by zip lining then 1.5 hr ride in river and then comes the magnificent caves with all of its naturalness surrounding itself by lush green forest. Temple visit: It opens at 5 AM. Better to go half an hour ago to save long queue, You can skip the queue by doing special darshan @300, My personal suggestion will be to enjoy the queue to feel the Aura for longer time. Pieces of Advice: Kindly book rooms before, they will not provide on spot stay or just stay in private "Dharamshala" Cave visit closes at 10.00 AM only , book early. Carry some food with you and prefer fruits diet because of poor hygine. Expected cost including all sigh seeing and 1 night stay( AC Rooms). ( 2 person) Rs. 2000. ( 1000/ per head)
