Rama Vaikunth Nath Swami Temple, also known as New Rang Nath Ji Temple, sits at the entrance to Pushkar, dedicated to Vishnu in his Ram Vaikuntha Nath form. Its architecture is more recent than Pushkar's older temples, but no less elaborate in its detailing. It's often the first temple visitors pass on the way into Pushkar from Ajmer, making it an easy stop before heading into town.
Constructed between 1920 and 1925, the Rama Vaikunth Nath Swami Temple holds deep historical roots. It belongs to the Jayakhyam Sect of Shri Vaishnava Sampradaya, with its rituals conducted wholly in Sanskrit. The temple's history is intertwined with the spiritual legacy of the region, a testament to the rich cultural tapestry of Rajasthan.
