Kishangarh, Pushkar Overview
Kishangarh, in Ajmer district, was founded in 1611 by Raja Kishan Singh and served as the capital of the princely state of the same name. It's known today for its distinct Kishangarh school of miniature painting and for being one of India's major marble trading hubs. It's usually visited as a day trip from Pushkar or Ajmer rather than a standalone destination.
