Khirsu is a small village located in Uttarakhand. I really enjoyed myself in Khirsu and felt like being nurtured by nature. I visited many apple orchards and viewpoints . One can clearly see the snow-capped peaks of Himalayas in Khirsu. There many beautiful hotels which serve hot and spicy dishes in compliance with the chilly weather. I think everyone visiting Dehradun should give this place a shot for a one day trip.

Pauri is a small place with very few eating out options. The place mostly houses some street food vendors near ISBT bus stand and few small restaurant and dhabbas serving mouth watering North Indian food.
Mostly meals can be taken only at the in house multi-cuisine restaurants at hotels or guest house.
