Jet Ski at Mypadu Beach

Feel the force in your hands as you Jet Ski powerfully against the sea waves of the magnificent Bay of Bengal. Provisions for Jet Skiing are made by the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Department to promote Urban Tourism and Tourism for the Young. The Ski rides cost INR 250 per person for a few minutes. Best Time To Visit Mypadu Beach

The best time to visit Mypadu Beach is between November and February as the weather is pleasant with the maximum temperature ranging from 29 to 32 degrees Celcius and minimum temperature ranging from 18 to 23 degrees Celcius. Summers, from March through June, are extremely hot making it uncomfortable to laze on the beach. The monsoon months are July to October and receive an average precipitation of 160 mm.

As part of promoting tourism in the region, the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Department has encouraged opening resorts near Mypadu beach. Travellers are advised to book their rooms well in advance to make their stay comfortable and convenient. The Haritha Mypadu Beach Resort is very famous amongst tourists and is often fully booked during the holiday season.

Government run guest houses are also quite famous in the area as they provide decent facilities at affordable rates. The APTDC (Andhra Pradesh Tourism Department Corporation) Guest House is accessible and provides a comfortable stay for the tourists.  

Tips For Visiting Mypadu Beach

1. The beach is known for having whirlpools. Visitors need to be careful while entering the water.
2. There are some eateries/ shacks by the beach for tourists to grab a bite and taste local dishes.
3. There's facility to park vehicles, but it is a paid parking.
4. Do not litter.
5. Do carry essentials like a change of clothes, hats and sunscreen.

How To Reach Mypadu Beach

Mypadu beach is very well connected by road from Nellore. One can hail public transport or rent a cab from Nellore and reach the beach in about 50 minutes via SH 57.

The closest railway station is the Nellore Railway Station which is also about 23 kilometres away from the beach. One can hail public transport to reach the mesmerizing Mypadu Beach in about 50 minutes via SH 57. The nearest airport is the Tirupati International Airport which is about 145 kilometres from the beach. One can rent tourist cabs to reach Nellore and take SH 57 to reach the Mypadu Beach.
