The Red Sand Dunes in Mui Ne are a unique tourist attraction in Vietnam. The reddish-brown colour of the sand comes alive during the late afternoons and at dusk. The Red Sand dunes are smaller than their counterpart, the White Sand dunes, and hence they are more accessible. Sand Sledding is a common activity here, but it is hard to point down a good location to sled as the sand keeps shifting. The best time to visit this place is either early in the morning or late in the evening as the sand gets very hot during the day.
