Manchester Cathedral, Manchester Overview

Formerly known as the Cathedral and Collegiate church of St. Mary, St Denys and St. George, Manchester Cathedral is the mother church of the Anglican Diocese of Manchester. It is also the seat of the Bishop of Manchester and the parish church of the city. It is located on Victoria Street in Manchester City Centre.

Manchester Cathedral's main building of the Cathedral is built in Perpendicular Gothic Style and it is really elegant in its structure. The visitor's centre of the church was opened by Queen Elizabeth II. The centre has a shop as well as an exhibition room. The major attraction is the 15th century Hanging Bridge.
