Paal Beach , Manado Overview

The Paal beach is a hidden paradise in North Sulawesi. Located in Marinsow Village, this beach is filled with hundreds of people during weekends and holidays. The beautiful stretch of pink-golden sand surrounded by green hills and clear blue water will make you want to visit this beach more than once.

This beach is sometimes called Balinya North Sulawesi because, the colour of the water, sand and the green hills in Paal beach are found to be way more spectacular than many beaches in Bali. The waves in this beach are normally calm, hence there are many water sports you can choose that trigger your adrenaline.

By paying IDR 25,000 per person, you can ride a large banana boat and go on a UFO boat ride. It is advised to wear life-jackets at all times and is recommended for visitors who at least know the basics of swimming.

Paal Beach is also visited for the sunrise views it offers. Since the beach is positioned to the east and is surrounded by beautiful water and green trees, the sunrise will be clear and heavenly to see. The beach is also equipped with public washrooms, changing areas and shelter huts which can be rented at the beach. There are many foods and drink stalls from where the visitors can buy something to eat.

How To Reach Paal Beach

  • Paal Beach is located in Marinsow Village, North Sulawesi. The beach is situated nearly 50 kilometres from Sam Ratulangi International Airport.
  • A good two-hour drive from Manado and 33-minutes drive from Likapung will get you to the beach.
  • When you reach the Marinsow village, follow the directions to the Paal Beach.
  • There is a large car parking space available at the beach.
