Palma Aquarium, Majorca Overview

Palma Aquarium is located in Can Pastilla and Playa de Palma and is the largest aquarium in Mallorca. It is also the deepest reservoir with sharks in Europe. It houses over eight thousand species of exotic fish and about eleven sharks of two different species.

It also works as an educational trip as it offers visitors a chance to explore and learn about the marine life existing in different parts of the world. Highlights of this aquarium include 3D whale cinema which displays movies about turtles, and whales in the garden, and it operates every half an hour from 11:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Also, there is a dedicated play area for children named as the Nautilus Park which has educational and entertaining activities for young minds. A unique addition to the aquarium is the 'The Jungle' which features a tropical rainforest environment. This aquarium has several different biomass and a huge shark tank with underwater viewing, which includes different species of shark, including bull sharks, sand tiger sharks, hammerhead sharks, etc. This 'Big Blue' shark tank is the deepest shark tank, and a special' daily show 'at the feeding time in the shark tank with sitting on floor cushions is most recommended.
