The Beatles Story, Liverpool Overview
This museum is a must visit on the Albert Dock. It focuses on the creation of the Beatles band, its career and then the subsequent solo career of the band members. There are audio tours to guide the tourists.
The Beatles Story in Albert Dock is the world's largest permanent exhibition that is purely dedicated to the lives and careers of The Beatles. The museum will take you through the journey of the music, story and culture of the band that changed the music of the world. There is also a site in Pier Head that opened recently in 2009. The Beatles story exhibits Audio guide in ten languages that has been narrated by John Lennon's half sister Julia. It contains the round spectacles of John Lennon, the first guitar of George Harrison, a replica of Cavern club and various other interesting things.
