Panchalimedu, a hill station in Idukki district, Kerala, is known for its cool climate. According to legend, the Pandavas stayed here during their exile, which is how the place got its name. One of the caves here is said to bear the footprints of Bhima, and a small pond called Panjali Kulam is said to be where Panchali (Draupadi), wife of the Pandavas, used to bathe.
