Pranburi Beach, Hua Hin Overview

Pranburi beach is a natural beach located to the west of the Gulf of Siam. It is easily accessible from the resort town of Hua Hin that lies at a distance of mere 20 miles. Kite Surfing - Pranburi, particularly the beach area, is known to be one of the best kite surfing destinations of Thailand. While the veterans enjoy a fun-filled afternoon trying to enhance their skills on the beach, the novices choose to take training classes.
Water Sports - The beach is never quite crowded, making it a haven for both kids and adults eager to try their hand at a host of water sports including kayaking, sailing, water skiing and snorkelling. Young kids are enthusiastic about participating in banana boat rides too.

The spicy tom yum soup and the red & green curries are hot favourites here. How To Reach Pranburi Beach

The beach is about 20 miles way from Hua Hin making it possible for tourists to hire a taxi or private car for the 3. 30 hours drive from Bangkok. Locals prefer to take a train ride from Hua Lumpong Station to Hua Hin and then hire a taxi to reach the destination. There are a number of private buses plying from Bangkok's Southern Bus Terminal to Pranburi as well.
