Diamond Head is the name of a volcanic tuff cone on the Hawaiian island of O_ahu and known to Hawaiians as L__ahi, the term is divided in two names lae and 'ahi, meaning lae 'browridge, promontory' plus _ahi 'tuna' because the shape of the ridgeline resembles the shape of a tuna's dorsal fin.
