Tsugaike Nature Park, Hakuba Overview
A high wetland at around 1,900 m reached by gondola and then ropeway, with a level boardwalk looping past four marshes and alpine flowers in July and August. It is a genuine protected marsh rather than a ski slope in summer clothing, and the boardwalk makes it the easiest real alpine walking in the valley. Note it sits in Otari, not Hakuba village, about 20 minutes north.
