Greenwich is one of the wealthiest communities in the United States. The streets of this city are lined with impressive architecture and its affinity to the Long Island Sound give Greenwich an undeniably cosy feel to it. The city has several ferries that allow visitors to visit the few off-shore islands. Greenwich is also home to several impressive museums that archive the city's notable history including the Neuberger Museum of Art. Visit Greenwich Avenue for its numerous shopping centres and eateries serving local preparations. A mere hour away from NYC, the city has a long history with the fine arts and features several art galleries on its grounds.
