Joybhum Kamakhya Temple, Goalpara Overview
One of the 51 'Shakti Sthals' of Hindu religion, the Sri Sri Joybhum Kamakhya Temple is a major one nestled in the bank of River Brahmaputra, located at a distance of around 50 km. from Goalpara Town.
There is also a temple of Lord Shiva built near the Joybhum Kamakhya Temple. Thousands of devotees assemble at the temple during the celebration of annual festival in the month of October.
