Oludeniz Beach, Fethiye Overview

Marked by shades of turquoise and aquamarine, Oludeniz Beach is located at the meeting point of the Mediterranean and Aegean seas. It is a short bus ride away from Fethiye. It is a certified Blue Flag beach because of its pristine sandy bay. The beach, with its shallow waters and inner island, makes for a picturesque scene.

Oludeniz beach is a tourist hotspot, with many lounging around in beach chairs, or paddling near the shore. Boats are not allowed in this region, but canoes and paddle-boats can be hired to take a short trip towards the inner island. A short while away from Mt. Babadag, the Blue Lagoon is considered one of the best spots in the world for paragliding. Water sports like kayaking and surfing are also a huge highlight in Oludeniz. Labelled a marine nature reserve by the government, the flora and fauna of this region can be observed up close during scuba diving sessions. There are many beach bars along the bay for food and drink.
