Saklikent Gorge

Saklikent Gorge, famously known as the Hidden City, is the longest canyon in Turkey and one of the deepest in the world. It is 18 kilometres long and 300 meters deep. There are plenty of fun activities available at Saklikent Gorge, like mud baths, tubing, rafting, canyoning, bungee jumping and zip lining.

Trekking and hiking in Saklikent Gorge have two different trails, one for beginners and a more difficult one that requires equipment. The second trail starts where the first one ends, requiring climbing over a waterfall. To get to the canyon, there are suspension bridges with hot springs at the end that are beneficial for skin diseases. Bungee jumping and zip lining are offered here too. Walking, trekking and sunset tours can be booked at the park and are popular tours. There are many hammocks, picnic spots and tree houses around the park to unwind and relax. Plenty of restaurants are housed in the park and serve authentic Turkish food. The canyon gets its name from Saklikent Gorge, a branch of the River Esen.
