Nea Chora Beach is situated to the west of the Venetian Walls of Chania Town, just 1 kilometer away from the city center. It is also known for hosting the annual Sardine Festival, where visitors can enjoy free fish like sardines, traditional Greek music dances, and much more during the summer months. It's a favorite spot among both locals and tourists due to its convenient location and charming atmosphere. The beach's proximity to the city center makes it easily accessible, with a pleasant 15-minute walk from Chania's old harbor.
