Bakken Amusement Park, Copenhagen Overview

One of the oldest amusement parks in the world, Bakken Amusement Park, is just 10 minutes from Dyrehaven in the northern area of Copenhagen. It is an amusement park that offers fun and excitement with its enthralling rides and its historical structure, giving it a unique character.

With five roller coasters, including Rutschebanen, the park offers more than 25 rides for visitors of all ages. In addition, the park has various entertainment options for adults and children alike, including seven different gaming halls with carnival-style games, slot machines, and dancing arenas. The park's mascot, Pjerrot the clown, is a favourite among children. It is also home to a large concert hall called Bakkens Hvile, where ballet performances can be seen as well as the Circus Revue, a live circus-type performance. Enjoy local dishes at the side stalls of the park, or sit in one of the trendy bars that serve the best cocktails. The park was established in 1583.
