Emerald City Garden, Chicago Overview
Established in the year 1998, the Emerald City Garden is located in Oz Park. Following along the lines of the Wizard of Oz theme of the Park the garden is called the Emerald Garden. Encompassed in the garden are the sculptures of four main characters of the Oz movie, walkaways, and native flowers for leisure walks through the garden.
Several events and programs are organized in the garden, which includes free outdoor movies, Pumpkin Patch- wherein the kids decorate pumpkins, Art therapy Connections Chalk festival –which welcomes all age groups to create art displays using chalk.
