Opened in the year 1972, under the auspice of Chicago Horticultural Society Chicago Botanic Garden is situated on the shoreline of Lake Michigan. With over 20 different gardens and natural areas the garden is spread across 385 acres of land and has over a million visitors every year.
Some of the gardens housed here are the Aquatic Gardens, Bulb Garden, Circle Garden, Dwarf Conifer Garden, Enabling Garden, Japanese Garden etc., Visitors can explore the garden by taking a leisure walk through the garden or by taking a tram.
