The beach in Agioi Apostoli is named after a chapel located on a hilly promontory in the area. It is quite a popular beach amongst tourists and locals since it is the closest to the city centre in Chania. The beach has three bays with very clean water and sand. Snorkelling is quite a popular activity here.
It has many facilities like sunbeds, umbrellas, showers, toilets, changing rooms, free parking space and rentals like air mattresses, children's toys and diving goggles. The beach is scattered with plenty of taverns that serve traditional Crete delicates, refreshments and other meals. There are also many volleyball and tennis courts on the land and a children’s play area near the middle bay.
