Bhuri Singh Museum, Chamba Overview
Named after the erstwhile sovereign of Chamba, the Bhuri Singh Museum is known for preserving its cultural heritage. Founded in 1908, the museum is located at the heart of Chamba and has a vast collection of inherited art. Originally written pages from the Mahabharata and the Upanishads are on display here, apart from the rare brass and copper engraved coins and such artefacts. Also on display are the popular Basholi and Kangra style paintings.
