With a plethora of cab operators in the city, you can not miss any attraction here. While Petit taxis are the most common as it takes you all around the city and is metred. The fare that comes in petit taxes are fairly cheap and genuine. However, you may book a grand taxi which is mostly a Mercedes giving you the luxury travel within the city.
The railways in the entire Morocco is operated by the ONCF. All the major cities like Marrakech, Tangier, and Nador are very well connected to Casablanca through railways.
Buses are the most popular transport system to get around Casablanca. There are plenty of inter-city and intra-city buses taking you to just about any destination you want to stop at. CTM and Supratours are the most common bus operators and is quite comfortable.
You can explore the city by tram, bus and taxi. Gare de Casa-Voyageurs, and Gare de l'Oasis are two of the main tram stations. The frequency for trams is quite good, with one leaving every ten minutes. Buses are the most cost-effective forms of transport in Casablanca, with lots of bus companies running several different routes through the city. However, buses tend to have pickpockets, so itês important to be aware. The share taxi system is quite popular in Casablanca. White coloured taxis take about 6 passengers, with a fixed price. Always pay up at the beginning of the trip. You can also flag down a taxi with patrons inside and fit in to get to your destination.
