Casa Tramway, Casablanca Overview

Morocco's second modern tram system, the Casa Tramway, operates in Casablanca and is a low-floor tram system. It consists of two lines, one (T1) that runs between Sidi Moumen to Lissasfa and another (T2) between Sidi Bernoussi to Aïn Diab. Clean and well-maintained, several tramway stops are close to famous attractions, including the Église de Notre Dame de Lourdes, Sacred Heart Cathedral, Carrefour Hypermarket, and the beach at Ain Dian and United Nations Square.

The system comprises 71 stops and will soon have two more lines.  T1 connects to two train stations, Voyageurs and L’Oasis. Given that it is an open-air tramway, one must walk along the road to transfer between lines. However, there is no need to buy a separate ticket for the different lines since the ticket includes the price for a transfer.
