Anti-Taurus Mountains, Cappadocia Overview

The Anti-Taurus Mountains is a mountain range running northeast from the Taurus Mountains in Cappadocia. It is covered in snow during most seasons. During spring, the melting snow forms many lakes. These lakes, as well as the Kapuzbasi Waterfall, are beautiful attractions in the mountain range with breathtaking views. It is also popular for camping. The most common camping areas are Sarimemedin Yurdu, Sokullupinar, and Yedigoller.

Forming the central part of the Taurus Mountains, the range is rather complex with steep routes heading towards the zeniths and trekking routes that run parallel to the slopes. On the southern slopes of the Anti-Taurus Mountains, you can see the Mediterranean Climate and from the northern slopes, the terrestrial climate can be witnessed. The Aladaglar National Park in the range covers about 55 hectares and is a great experience for those who enjoy trekking and adventure.
