Choco-Story Brussels is a unique museum dedicated to the history and art of chocolate, located in the heart of Brussels at Rue de l’Etuve 41, just steps away from the iconic Manneken Pis statue. The museum offers chocolate-making workshops where visitors can craft their own chocolates and take them home. Audio guide can be rented at the museum, if you bring your headphones. Entry to the workshops is via a time-bound ticket. Notably, tasting chocolate is part of the Choco-Story Brussels museum tour, and you can buy it from the gift shop.
The museum traces the journey of chocolate from its origins with the Mayas and Aztecs to its transformation into the beloved Belgian praline. The exhibits showcase how cocoa beans were cultivated, traded, and refined over centuries. With games, hands-on activities, and hidden surprises for children, the museum ensures a fun visit for all ages. Demonstrations are there all day long during the opening hours, where the master chocolatier will make pralines in front of you. After the demonstration ends, you will get to taste the creation of the master chocolatier. You will adore the displays at the museum that include cartoons, educational panels, and videos that portray how cocoa becomes chocolate.
