This quiet town in Sri Lanka is welcoming tourists all-round the year. The temperature varies between 26°C and 30°C during the hotter part of the year. Being a coastal town, it is subject to humidity; January being the least humid and November being the wettest month. Sri Lanka as such hosts a tonne of tourists of all nationalities during December as Christmas and New years are touted to be magical in this land down South. However, June – July sees the least number of tourists and is relatively more suitable for the pockets.
