Ayutthaya Historical Park, Ayutthaya Overview

Ayutthaya Historical Park is the UNESCO World Heritage-listed ruin complex of the former Siamese capital, sacked by a Burmese invasion in 1767. The park spans the old walled island and holds dozens of individually ticketed temple ruins, including Wat Mahathat, Wat Phra Si Sanphet and Wat Ratchaburana.
