Tahtali Teleferik (Olympos Cable Car), Antalya Overview
Tahtali Teleferik, also called the Olympos Cable Car, runs from a base station between Camyova and Tekirova to the 2,365-metre summit of Tahtali Dagi (Mount Olympos), about 57 km south of Antalya near Kemer. Opened in 2007 and built by Austria's Doppelmayr Garaventa Group, the 4,359-metre line is among the longest passenger aerial tramways in the world, climbing over 1,600 vertical metres in around 12 minutes. The summit has a restaurant, gift shop, and viewpoints stretching along the Mediterranean coast from Finike to Side.
Set within Beydaglari Coastal National Park in Kemer district, Tahtali Teleferik climbs from a base station at 726 metres to the 2,365-metre peak of Tahtali Dagi, historically identified with Mount Olympos. Two 80-passenger cabins cover the 4,359-metre route past four support towers, making it one of the highest cable car rides in Turkey. At the top, marked walking trails, a cafe, and panoramic viewpoints overlook the coastline. It typically operates daily from around 10am to 5pm. It is a separate attraction from the existing Antalya Cable Car (Tunektepe Teleferik), a shorter ride located within Antalya city itself.
