Kursunlu Waterfall, Antalya Overview
Kursunlu Waterfall lies 19km northwest of Antalya, along the Antalya-Serik-Alanya highway. It sits on a tributary of the Aksu river, where the water drops roughly 18m into a natural pool. It is a great place to hike or walk in nature, surrounded by pine trees. There are several picnic spots around the area and a pretty little cafe.
The best time to visit Kursunlu Waterfall is during fall or spring, especially in May, since the fall is relatively smaller during the summer months. You will be able to truly appreciate the beauty during the spring months when the flowers bloom, and the entire area looks nothing short of a heavenly abode with sparkling water on sunny days. The stone pathways leading to the waterfall can get a little rocky, so comfortable footwear is advised.
