Polykandrioti is the home of LALAoUNIS's celebrated jewellery store by the world-renowned Greek goldsmith and jewellery pioneer Ilias Lalaounis. This store is known for its collections of ancient and traditional styles of Greek jewellery and heavy golden cuffs and necklaces. The Austrian jewellery maker Swarovski also has a store on this street. Attica Bakeries is a place that sells some delicious sweets and baked goodies, and there are plenty of shops that sell several handmade and beautiful souvenirs that tourists can take home as a memory from the island.
