India's Musical Retreat Is Here! The 10th Edition of Bacardi Nh7 Weekender Is Back. Here's What to Expect!

The Bacardi NH7 Weekender, India's Musical Paradise is back with a bang. The opulent multi-genre festival runs for its 10th year in a row now. It is scheduled in November this year.

The large scale Weekender is being held in Shillong in Meghalaya from November 1-2, and Pune from November 29–December 1.

Top-performing global artists are set to rock the stage this year. One can expect Nick Murphy aka Chet Faker, Opeth, Kodaline, Dreamville Records, Earthgang, Cozz, Garden City Movement and Underside in Pune. The Indian line-up includes names such as A. Hariharan, Wadali's, Raja Kumari, Brodha V and Bhayanak Maut. Well, this isn't it. If you are a big fan of stand-up comedy, then there's a great line-up of artists awaiting you as well.

If this doesn't excite you enough, then the list for Shillong is even better. You will be thrilled to know that international artists such as Karnivool and Intervals and Indian artists such as Shubha Mudgal, Benny Dayal and Funktuation and When Chai Met Toast will be performing here. Exceptionally talented acts from the North-east which are set to perform this season are Soulmate: North East Blues Special, Imphal Talkies and Khazi Bloodz. The vibe is going to be great and how!

It is definitely set to be one of the greatest musical experiences of the year with electrifying performances in line. Ever since it began in 2009, it has been delivering grand-scale performances with world-class artists. Over 800 global and Indian artists have performed at exotic packed venues across in India over the decade.

If you want a high-end experience like never before, head to Shillong or Pune. But if you are unable to travel, NH7 is also being held at a moderate scale in cities like Noida, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Lucknow, Jaipur and Kochi.

Festival director Supreet Kaur said- "We're thrilled to be back in Meghalaya for our fifth year in the state. Since our festival's journey began in 2010, Bacardí NH7 Weekender has programmed extraordinary talent for an equally passionate and growing audience of music fans. The festival began as a home for indie musicians to connect with their fans like never before, and over ten years, it's been surreal to witness the festival grow in the most organic way - both sonically and as a community. With over 82% of our line-up making their festival debut this year, we hope to see fans, old and new to celebrate this decade of happiness with us".

"Bacardí NH7 Weekender has successfully brought independent music to mainstream culture, and we are confident that in the next ten years, the community will grow bigger and stronger. This year, we look forward to celebrating the festival, our fans and the spirit of always doing what moves us"- Said Bacardí Director Marketing, India Anshuman Goenka.
