Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Kochi & Transfer to Munnar
  • Arrive at the Kochi airport and be transferred to Munnar.
  • On arrival at Munnar, check-in at the hotel.
  • In the afternoon, visit Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park - open as per the directions by the forest authorities) & Tea Museum.
  • In the evening, a short visit to Munnar town. You can see the beautiful tea estates like a green paradise.
  • Overnight stay at Munnar.
  • After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing.
  • Visit Mattuppetty dam, Echo Point, Kundala Dam, Pothamedu Viewpoint, Blossom Park, etc.
  • Time for shopping.
  • Overnight stay at Munnar.
  • In the morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel.
  • Drive to Thekkady. Thekkady is a world-famous wildlife sanctuary, and it is also called Periyar.
  • On arrival, check in at the hotel.
  • In the afternoon, proceed for a game viewing cruise on Periyar Lake. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar, etc.
  • In the evening you can take an Elephant ride at Periyar wildlife.
  • Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
  • Overnight stay at Thekkady.
  • After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Alleppey.
  • Around 1200 hrs check in at the houseboat and start your cruise through the rich and splendid backwater.
  • Relax at the deluxe houseboat.
  • Cruise along the village sides and paddy fields witnessing the core life of the Kerala villages for the whole day.
  • Overnight stay at the houseboat.
  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel/houseboat and transfer to Kovalam.
  • Kovalam is an evergreen and pleasant climatic beach resort and a dreamland for tourists worldwide.
  • On arrival, check in at the hotel.
  • Relax at the hotel.

  • After breakfast, proceed to Thiruvananthapuram.

  • Go for a boat ride in the afternoon.
  • Later in the evening, take a water taxi to visit Poovar beach and watch a beautiful sunset.

  • After breakfast, proceed to Kanyakumari.
  • On arrival in Kanyakumari, check in at the hotel.
  • Later, proceed sightseeing.
  • Visit Padmanabhapuram Palace, Thiruvalluvar Statue, Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Bhagavathy Amman Temple, Gandhi Memorial, Bharat Mata Temple, Kanyakumari Beach, and Sunset View Point.

An excellent vacation trip arranged to South India by Duniya Zamana. The transport, meals and accommodation arrangements were fabulous.
