Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Kochi & Transfer to Munnar
  • Arrive at the Kochi airport and be transferred to Munnar.
  • On arrival at Munnar, check-in at the hotel.
  • In the afternoon, visit Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park - open as per the directions by the forest authorities) & Tea Museum.
  • In the evening, a short visit to Munnar town. You can see the beautiful tea estates like a green paradise.
  • Overnight stay at Munnar.
  • After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing.
  • Visit Mattuppetty dam, Echo Point, Kundala Dam, Pothamedu Viewpoint, Blossom Park, etc.
  • Time for shopping.
  • Overnight stay at Munnar.
  • In the morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel.
  • Drive to Thekkady. Thekkady is a world-famous wildlife sanctuary, and it is also called Periyar.
  • On arrival, check in at the hotel.
  • In the afternoon, proceed for a game viewing cruise on Periyar Lake. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar, etc.
  • In the evening you can take an Elephant ride at Periyar wildlife.
  • Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
  • Overnight stay at Thekkady.
  • After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Alleppey.
  • Around 1200 hrs check in at the houseboat and start your cruise through the rich and splendid backwater.

What's Good: Overall it was an average trip..Communication was very good with the agent. Hotel and staff were very helpful and service was quick.
What's Not Good: As this was an inter (Read More)national trip so i was expecting It should have been more planned...it was not upto the mark..i had 1 full day free but nothing was planned..so that was overlooked was by me...hotel check in was late..It should have been at 3pm but got at 7.30pm ..At singapore also they too us for the same location 2 continue days in sentosa island..
